As you know, US 89 through Phoenix was first designed in 1926. We found a 1930 of street traffic in Phoenix. Even though this view doesn't show US 89's route on Van Buren and Grand Avenue, it is easily representative of what driving through Phoenix would looked like when US 89 was a mere 4 years old.
